My family had a fantastic time soaking up the sun over one of the last warm weekends of the year. Linda’s place was the ideal spot for us: modern, stylish, and elegant while preserving some of the classic beach cottage charm that makes me so nostalgic. And the outdoor space! Where to even start. We’ve been coming to the beach for 15 years as a family, and my kids have never spent this much time outside after a long day at the beach. From cornhole to s’mores to watching the fish jump in the canal, there was plenty to capture their attention.
This place is perfect for our family of 5! The location is great, the outdoor space is perfection!
We had a wonderful time. The house is very nice, very clean and lots of amenities. The outdoor living space is very comfortable. Fenced in yard too for our corgi Abby to enjoy. Great location to the restaurants there. Wish we could have stayed longer. James the host is very attentive to anything you need for your stay!! We will definitely come back!!

This house is beautiful inside and out. The owners have meticilously thought of everything. The location is perfect as well.
Home sweet vacation home again and again. We absolutely adore this home & have had nothing but praise each time we have visited. New updates make us feel like a kid at Christmas; this year’s included a bathroom remodel. Truly appreciate the love and attention “our vacation home” receives. Our family immediately feels welcome, comfortable, and right at home here. We are already looking forward to our next stay.
Location is perfect, short walk to beach, town square and Sunset Slushie 😊. House fits family of 4 plus a dog beautifully and the hosts def ensure the house has everything that you need. The plush fresh towels, comfortable beds and downstairs hangout are all awesome! Hosts are extremely responsive and take initiative of ensuring your stay is wonderful.
We Totally Enjoyed our week at OIB & this house was Outstanding!! Loved the Outdoor space & fenced in yard since we had our pups with us! They loved it 🐾 We loved the gas grill which we definitely used !! Everyone we met around us were very friendly & we felt very safe & comfortable- Can’t say enough about this home & Linda & James checked in with us which is a Plus !!! We will for sure be back !! This house was awesome! Great location, very short walk to the beach and restaurants. Lots of room for everyone and the downstairs area was great. House was very clean and lots of upgrades. James was very responsive and the communication before , during, and after was spot on. We will definitely book again!
My husband and I had the absolute best time at Linda’s Beach Cottage at OIB! As soon as we walked through the door childhood memories flooded back, we have finally found our home away from home. We absolutely adored the outside areas and the warm homey feeling of the cottage. We didn’t cook this stay, but I was so impressed that the kitchen was fully equipped and loved the gas stove. I can see so many future memories to be made at the downstairs seating around the gas fire pit while we fish off the dock! Beach is a 3 minute walk and so many restaurants under a 10 minute walk. Everyone was so friendly and the neighborhood was impeccable. We cannot wait to come back to the Beach Cottage with our family every year!

Cancellation policy
Refundable Bookings
Cancellation deadlines:
- For stays under 15 nights, you may cancel or reschedule up to 14 days before check-in for a full refund. For stays 15 nights or longer, the cancellation window is 60 days.
- For some homes, a 30-day deadline applies — this will be clearly shown before you book.
- Cancellations must be submitted before 4 PM EST on the deadline day to qualify.
Fair-Refund Policy
If you cancel after the deadline:
- Rentals at Sunset will relist your dates and automatically refund you for any nights that rebook.
- The refund per night will be the lower of the original price or the rebooking rate. Nights that do not rebook are non-refundable.
Half-Now, Half-Later Bookings
- The first half of your payment is non-refundable.
- The second half may be refunded according to the standard cancellation policy above.
Non-Refundable Bookings
If you selected a Non-Refundable rate at checkout, the booking cannot be changed or canceled, and no refund will be issued.
Date Changes & Rebooking
Once a stay is canceled, you can't rebook the same dates yourself. If you need help choosing new dates, our Concierge team is happy to assist.
Transfers to Another Guest
You may transfer your booking to someone else at no charge. Just contact the Concierge with the new guest's name and email. The new guest must accept the transfer for it to take effect.
Policy Match Guarantee
If a better price is available for the same property on Airbnb or the owner's site, contact the Concierge — Rentals at Sunset will match it.
